Nolly soundtrack released

The music as featured in the ITV / ITVX drama ‘Nolly‘ has this month been released across music streaming services. The drama, which debuted on ITVX in February, will air later this year on the main ITV channel (including STV) and has proved a hit for ITVX with over a million streams.

Written by Russell T. Davies the three-part series tells the story of Crossroads’ leading lady Noele Gordon who is portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter. The production has received glowing reviews from viewers, the press and critics.

On March 17th ‘Nolly’ was issued by Silva Screen Records. The soundtrack album features the original music composed by Blair Mowat. In total there are 25 tracks and the album is available on all major music streaming services (apple, Spotify, Amazon etc…)

The remake of the original Crossroads theme which pops up occasionally within the drama isn’t featured on the album, it was reimaged by Richard Atkinson for sound production company Mcasso, who also provided musical showstopper ‘Rose’s Turn’ arranged by Mike MacLennan for the drama.

As a footnote since the Noele Gordon drama went to air on ITVX / STV Player, we have been informed that visits to her grave at Ross on Wye have increased. We’re sure Nolly would be pleased.
