eBay flooded with ATV and Crossroads ‘fakes’ since Nolly drama launched

A host of fake ATV photocards has been unleashed on eBay since the ITVX Noele Gordon drama Nolly began streaming at the end of February 2023. The auction site has also seen legit Crossroads merchandise dramatically rise in price thanks to the drama raising the profile of Noele and Crossroads.

The fake items are pretty easy to identify. ATV never in its run from 1955 to 1981 released photocards in colour, they were all done in monochrome and were not glossy. Also, it is well documented the cast cards released by ATV over the years not only for Crossroads but all the other programmes produced by Lew Grade’s company in the Midlands and Elstree.

eBay were contacted via their social media, and have thus far declined to comment. Pictured below some of the fakes…
