Crossroads Caring for Carers Gains top Care Quality Commission rating.
Caring for Carers in Worcestershire are rightly ‘absolutely thrilled’ that they have been awarded a rating of ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
This ranking by the CQC means their service is performing exceptionally well. This is the highest rating that can be awarded by the care sectors regulator. ‘A huge thank you to all our staff for their hard work and commitment. We are so proud.’
Crossroads Caring for Carers / Crossroads Care was launched by ATV and ITV in 1973 following a storyline in Crossroads which looked at how carers of disabled relatives lacked support. Prior to the 1972 plot, there was no such service in the UK to give home carers a break from their daily routines.
The patron for Caring for Carers Worcs is Adam Chance (1978-88/2001-02) actor Tony Adams.
